Greetings, Cabal enthusiasts! I’m back in the realm of action after a hiatus and need some guidance. I’ve come across helpful comments and posts, with a special shoutout to “DueFlounder546” for their assistance. However, there’s still a lot to learn, and I’m reaching out for further help.
A bit of background— I’m a veteran player, active from 2007 to 2010, returned briefly in 2016, and then once again in 2023. I’ve got characters at various levels, but my main focus is on my Level 192 Blader (BL). In the past three days, I’ve found myself studying Cabal Mobile more intensively than I ever did for my computer science engineering degree (in its final year, no less!).
Currently, my LVL192 BL boasts a Combat Power of 291k, and I’ve recently completed four Adept of Siena 1 (AoS1) dungeons. Dungeon runs feel almost as familiar as riding a bike—once learned, never forgotten.
Here’s a quick rundown of my BL’s gear:
Archridium Helm Fatal +7: CR+8%, 2 slots (CD+20%)
Suit Amp +9: SAMP+5%, 1 slot (100HP)
Craftsman Archridium Gloves +10: Yellow Epic, Def+25, AMP+8%, 1 slot (clean)
Archridium Boots Absorption +8: MaxHPSteal+20, 1 slot (AMP+7%)
Archridium Blade Fatal +6: CR+8%, 1 slot (CD+10%)
Craftsman Blade +10: Yellow Epic, AllAttackUP+15, CD+16%, 1 slot (CD+10%)Mithril EOF and Phantom Fera Board x,D round up my weapon arsenal.

No pet in tow, and as for runes (non-blended so far), I’ve invested in DefR+19, AtkR+19, DEX+6, STR+6, INT+3, MCR+3, EXP+8, HPAbsorb+3, MaxHPAbsorb+15, and Def+10.
Wings have just been acquired, and I’m clueless about transcendence, collections, or anything remotely “recent.”
I currently sit on 300-400 million alz, and my primary objectives are reaching Level 200, enhancing my power, and predominantly playing solo due to my work and student commitments. Solo farming and dungeon runs will be my main focus.
Now, the burning questions:
1, What should I buy now, considering my current gear?
2, What’s the next focus for my character progression?
3, Is it worth transitioning to Palladium or Demonite, even at the cost of losing set bonuses?
4, Any advice for F2P PVE?
Lastly, there’s a slew of new skills I’ve noticed, and I can’t recall if they were present in 2017. My current combo is LS-HH-IB-DT.
